There's Something Special Going on in DFW

Message from Chapter President

Welcome to the JSUNAA DFW Chapter website. We are glad you are here, because “There is something special going on in DFW!” The DFW Chapter has been in operation since 1982, and our mission is to promote the success of the Jackson State University National Alumni Association, Incorporated and uplift Our Dear Old College Home.

I am Je’Juan Gray, the 14th chapter president and a 2009 graduate of Thee Jackson State University. Under my administration, the chapter’s focal points are (1) alumni retention and involvement, (2) consistent and transparent communication, and (3) student recruitment. We have established partnerships with many of the DFW businesses where our alumni base has connections to enlarge our footprint throughout the metroplex. This year, we kicked off the DFW 5 Points Plan where we rotate meetings and activities to different areas (North, Central, Far West, East, and South), so that we can give all alumni and friends a chance to support. We still continue to host our signature events such as the Black Winemakers’ Dinner, Texsippian Cookout, and Caravan of Love Outreach Day. Be sure to check the news/upcoming events to ensure you do not miss out on a great time with your fellow Jacksonians.

I have an open door policy and encourage anyone considering supporting our chapter to submit all questions to info@dfw-jsu.org. We meet every first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm, and we look forward to seeing you there!

We encourage all alumni to stay “in the know” with upcoming University news and information first hand. Please help us keep the legacy of the JSUNAA DFW Chapter going strong with your bright ideas and refreshing energy.

Thee I Love,

Je’Juan Gray
